Baby girl Saylor Elaine was born at the right time: 6:12 a.m. on 6/12 — and weighed 6 pounds, 12 ounces

The birth of Saylor Elaine Johnson on Wednesday, June 12, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center was a joyful event for her adoring parents Kara Fogle and William Johnson of Nashville.
In all the excitement of the birth it wasn’t until a little later that her dad noticed the serendipity in Saylor’s debut: she entered the world on June 12 at 6:12 a.m. and weighed 6 pounds and 12 ounces.
“We knew she was born on 6/12, but later on in the delivery room the nurses told me she was born at 6:12 a.m.,” her mom said. “After a little while they weighed her and said she weighed 6 pounds 12 ounces, and when her dad took a picture he noticed it was all 6/12. We were all so surprised!”
It was Saylor’s dad who noticed the coincidence of her date, time and weight.
Fogle’s first child, Saylor is a calm, sweet baby who is already bringing joy and smiles to family, friends and even strangers who hear about her happenstance birthday.
“ I can’t believe that I helped create something so beautiful and that I’m so in love with her it’s crazy,” her dad says.
Saylor was originally due on June 10, but because she waited a couple of extra days to make her world premiere, she will have a fun fact to share the rest of her life, Fogle said.
“We will tell her how she came right on time — the most perfect time — and how special she is,” Fogle said. “It’s one of those fun facts she can share the rest of her life when she goes to school or if she’s asked to tell something interesting about herself. She has something interesting for sure. We will never forget her birth weight time or date.”
